Good grief...Sorry for the INSANE lack of updating. To be honest I'm absolutely horrible at keeping up with these things. I've never wanted to give up on them though, I always come back to them and apologize for the awful delays.
I'm FINALLY done with my junior year of college, and it looks like the summer is going to be pretty crammed too. I'm still kind of stressed from the semester even though it's over. Kind of that residual stress and depression, but it'll go away in a few days when I throw open the windows, go for a drive, go out to eat, and hang out with my friends for the first time all year -_-' I have no life...
Oh yeah, but hey, I'm going to have to remind myself to do this update every week, because I've got some fun stuff to share and I'm working on some big things, including The Battalion making an appearance at a new convention!!! I'm so excited but I'm worried it may not work out because of the cost(I actually live in the area that it's being hosted in, so that gets rid of the hotel fees, but it's going to cost an arm and a leg to have all the things to hand out ready. I'll be down a few hundred dollars, and I don't even know how much the table will cost me) AND I may not even be able to go. The con is the weekend of June 13th, the exact same week my summer school starts. So we'll see...
In other news, my 21st birthday is next week, on the 21st, and my enthusiasm is nonexistent. Sure, I'll be able to go out and have fun, but I have absolutely no motivation to do so at all whatsoever. Which is kind of sad.
But on the upside, the birthday presents to myself are fantastic ^^ (Yeah, see that new store link up there? Try it...
Just be sure to go to cafepress directly and nab the discount codes if you plan on buying anything, because HOLY CRAP(P.S. I kept the markups to a minimum, so those insane prices? Yeah, not my fault, I swear...)
So yeah, here's what I got -
Dark (Charcoal Heather) Aero Division Tee, and matching tags. The tags went in my car. The shirt I wore immediately.
AND OHMYGOD WHAT IS THIS?!?!?! Yeah, that's right I got one of these babies too, via customwallscrolls.com.
It's a 42" x 32" side mount. Which I still have to figure out how to hang on my wall. Oops...Eh, I'll figure it out eventually. it was either that or one half the size. I went with big and bold (Note to Self: check fine details on the image. the scroll shows EVERYTHING, including the choppy lines my paint programs have stuck me with....sheesh..)
I'm pretty sure there were some other things I wanted to mention, but I'll probably remember them later (that's always how it works, isn't it?). In the meantime, I have to pack up my apartment for the summer and get ready to head back to Chicago. Woohoo.
